Startin to Move

Even though it is at night the buck photo's are starting to increase dramatically. By the looks of it this old boy is on the move. A side note. After reading some iffy reviews we still went with the new Cudde back Capture. At $199 the Capture is the ticket.

Looks like he's panting a bit!

There was a big one seen in the day light hours on Saturday morning at my place in Talbot county.

These cold nights should get things going nicely. I did watch a few little bucks start to follow a few does around over the weekend.

Damn I love this time of year.

What's your age estimate of that buck? Is 4.5 about right?

I agree with 5.5, body mass makes me believe he has some age on him. Definately a stud, would like to see a facing shot.

Dave we where thinking 4.5. Hope to get a front end shot to see the width, but looks like a messed up right side with a split main and some junk. Have acouple pics that might be his offspring that would indicate narrow. He sure has some serious mass at the base of the camera side.

Unfortunately for me most of the activity on the side of road I have permission to hunt is at night they all bed and hang out across the road during daylight. Cudde charts indicate that out of 105 pics from this spot only 15 where during the daylightMy only chance will most likely come during the prime rut, but have other spots that I have more confidence in for daylight activity.
