that's a really nice mature buck in the photo. The bucks are starting to grow horn hear in NC, we watched one out the window a couple days ago that was a spike last year and has some good knots showing now. This deer was injured last year looked like a coyote had grabbed his ham an ripped the hide off it. It's all healed now with a nasty scar. I am curious to see what he will be this year, knowing he was a spike last year.
