    Stand is hung....time to rock

    Realtime reports will commence tomorrow afternoon if all goes as planned.

    This year my "u" button on my treo is broken so you'll have to keep that in mind when reading my reports.

    I changed my stand location this year. A big double poplar with a fence behind me, and a nice wide shooting lane in front of me. The stand is on one of the trees, and the other blocks my right side. These deer are gonna be totally confused when that first Gold Tip goes zipping through the woods.

    The camera will be rolling, and hopefully will capture a little backstrap harvesting.

    I shoot Gold tip arrows w/ a muzzy 100 3-blade broadhead.

    I shot the gold tip mechanicals two seasons ago and absolutely trashed the front end of the first deer I shot with them. A 1.5 yr old. Went through both shoulders and laid on the ground on the other side.

    I then lost a deer that I thought I made a good shot on. Retired the gold tips after that.

    I'm gonna stick with Muzzy until i have a problem with them. They're tough, affordable, and just plain kill with a good shot.

    Pitch Bait,

    I shoot Muzzy 4 blade and Spitfire mechanical, both work very well for me.. The spitfire 125 is the closest to a field point I have shot yet...

    I have also heard good things about the Montec's let me know how they kill...
