    Sons second turkey

Karl and BeagleMan set out early this morning to bag another turkey. This one required a lot of work to get his attention. He gobbled on the roost, gobbled on the ground, everytime one of our roosters would crow, he would gobble. Then followed his hens off in the other direction. Some persistent calling persuaded him to come back towards the decoy. At 8:15 he strutted into the field, 8:19 he tried to breed the decoy, and at 8:20 it was a done deal all but the breasting.

20 pound, 9 1/2 inch and thick beard, and 1 inch spurs.

    I think I have created a monster....
