Nice Pics!! This will be my second year bear hunting. I have yet to see them during the season except for at night and hope this year is different.
For some reason, they have captured 4 bears up where we hunt and are transporting them out of the area. We are about a month away from hunting season and I don't know why they are moving them now??

I HAVE HUNTED BEAR FOR QUITE SOME TIME BOTH HERE IN THE STATES AND CANADA, AND I HAVE TO SAY PA, WITHOUT A DOUBT IS THE TOUGHEST OF ALL TO TAG OUT ON A BEAR. DURING EARLY ARCHERY SEASON IN PA, IS WHEN I SEE BEAR ALL OF THE TIME, BUT COME GUN SEASON FORGET ABOUT IT, I THINK THEY ALL PACK UP AND LEAVE THE STATE.
IF THEY ARE RELOCATING BEARS BY YOU, MORE THAN LIKELY THEY ARE TROUBLE BEARS, BUT EACH BEAR THEY REMOVE IS ONE LESS CHANCE FOR THE HUNTERS.
I WILL BE AT IT AGAIN THIS SEASON IN PA, JUST LIKE YOU, JUST PUT IN YOUR TIME AND IT WILL HAPPEN FOR YOU.THEN YOU WILL BE HOOKED FOR LIFE...
Thanks for the pictures. Amazing animals! Have had them at the house here in Central Va including the garage and filming with 5 thumbs in the back yard. My son Nolan called me last week while I was on a fishing trip asking if he could bow hunt for the one seen behind the house that afternoon. Told my wife that the excitement of the thought of it should keep him going for a while. @12 it just wasn't going to happen but I couldn't tell him no the day before his 13th birthday.
HEY, THATS A GREAT THING YOUR SON WANTS TO HAVE AT IT WITH THAT BEAR, HOPE HE HAD A GREAT BIRTHDAY AND KEEP HIM GOING WITH THAT DESIRE TO HUNT.
I HAVE HEARD ALLOT LATELY ABOUT THE BEAR HUNTING WHERE YOU LIVE, ITS REALLY DEVELOPING INTO SOMETHING SPECIAL.
great pics, looks like one doozy there on the 9th
