i have been waiting on a prime BW drake to mount for a couple years now....unfortunatly this one was not quite feathered out like i would like. plus, he got a little boogered up when i whacked his ass on the water!



also looking for a fully plumed spoony to mount. i think they are great looking ducks.

I need to get a good BW myself. I'm still waiting for a good green head. I got a really good pintail mount about 2 yrs. ago before Texas Parks & Wildlife put the stop to shooting them.

you cant shoot PT's in texas???

This was the second season that we weren't able to shoot any.

well then im not going to tell you how many my stepdad and his party killed in one afternoon just south of the border this past january .....

we get a pile of them on our coast and can kill one.

I'm so pissed off at DU because they built who knows how many feeding stations up the country. When I was a kid, I'd start to see geese, and pintails in late October. This year they didn't get down here til the week before Chritmas. I think that next year, we are going to be able to get one. Hardly worth putting decoys out.
