It sounds like most of Maryland missed the worst parts of the recent nor-easter.
The snow helped freeze most of our creek, and the ducks didn't even remotely cooperate this morning. The strong winds kept the fields relatively snow free and the geese came in like gangbusters to an old school tire rig.
8 of us got our limit, but the blowing snow kept me from breaking out the camera. Dakota put on one heck of a show retrieving the geese, while clouds of snow put him out of our sight quite a few times.
The warm up this week will surely melt the snow, and spread them back out, but get after the birds while you can.
Did anyone else end up out in the wind and snow today?

Son #2 and I hunting all day in the lee of the wind --- Very slow for an all day hunt. 7 ducks all day, but a special treat for us on a freshwater Virginia River--- a Canvasback. We got about 6" of snow over the course of 2 days.
The geese were dumb as stumps though as we had 2 groups lock up on our 'coys with no goose blocks out ---- veered of just before gunning range.
I can see it's dangerous for you, but if the government trusts me, maybe you could.
