Marty- I don't know what your decision was, but if it's raining sideways, most likely the deer are gonna be bedded down anyway and not moving, so why not stay in and get things wound up here on SFC. It might be a good night to do some more Q and A......whether it be fishing or even hunting.

My imprompto day of hooky left the bibs at home. I did have a slicker in the truck. I got to the farm and it was a light "mist". Two deer grazing on the road dam. Good sign, maybe they will be active with this "mist. I decided to bring the slicker just in case it starts to sprinkle.
Put on the camo coveralls, get the gear and make the 400 yd walk across the field and into the tree stand just inside the woods.
Okky dokky, gun loaded, binos focused, camo mask on,--- holy shit who opened the flood gates in the sky. I mean it poured buckets. My coveralls got so heavy I thoght the tree stand would buckle. Ok, toughen up there panzy ass. Sit down and bear it. SOB, do you know where all that rain water goes after you sit down with soaking wet coveralls?
