Shrooms

I have a good friend up there and i used to visit a couple of times a year. The lake and spillway we fished was just over the south dakota line and we really did well on walleyes almost everytime we went. We picked the shrooms and asparagus in the spring. That wild asparagus looked much different than i had imagined. It was a long stalk with asparagus limbs hanging off. I liked that part of the country and the shrooms were great

I'd guess you were at Lewis and Clark lake/ Gavins Pt Dam. Very nice area. The morels should start poppin' about mid April here in Huskerland. Those big ones are great stuffed with a mix of shrimp, crab and cream cheese then bread and fry.
