    should've gone fishin

    Duck hunted Sharon Harris yesterday. put the decoys out at lunchtime in the pouring rain in 25knot wind. lots of ducks were flying and we shot 1 ruddy then it turned into a bright sunny day and didn't get another shot.

    This morning hunted a farm pond in Greensboro and only got 1 hooded merganser. I think hunt4fish shot it but he says I did. Neither one of us really want to take credit for it. Hunter is only 6 years old and was blowing his new duck call better than his dad! lol
    Fresh merganser for dinner!!! mmmmm!!

    Yeah not much of a hunt,but taking the boy out is worth the price of addmission.And not only can Hunter blow a call he's better than alot of others I know to.
