His beard was just over 9", not much for spurs and prolly 20lbs.

I called him in across a plowed up field from maybe 150 yds or so. He never made a sound. I actually didn't even see him till he was maybe 30-40 yards out. I was lookin' for one to come up the draw I was sittin' in. He tried sneaking in behind me, just poppin' his red head up every few yards. Saw him strut a couple times. When he got about 15 yds from me....BAM

Actually my first spring bird, taken a few in the fall. Pretty fun calling them in.

Now hopfully I can pop my wahoo cherry next week. Heading to Aruba
