She Tricked him!
As in Slick Tricked this young boar. We are in a club were most of the members are gun hunters but most times we choose the bow as our weapon of choice. My wife had her bow yesterday evening when this boar and a mate come sliding in just before dark. She waited on a quartering away shot and took it. The Slick Trick on the front of a Gold Tip arrow done the job and the hog traveled less than 40 yds. That's the kind of tracking jobs I like, short and sweet. Our hogs have starting moving a little bit before dark and we are glad to see it. She got drawn on 5 deer today but swirling wind saved one of them from an early demise.
