    SCORE THAT BUCK "PICTURE"...

WAS ON AN OUTFITTERS SITE WHEN I CAME ACROSS THIS SCORING SYSTEM THAT CAN BE DONE ON A WHITETAIL FROM GAME / TRAIL, CAMERA PICTURES (AND ANY OTHER PICTURES) ON YOUR COMPUTER , I WILL GIVE YOU THE WEB SITE FOR THE PRODUCT AND IT HAS A DEMO TAPE THAT IS PRETTY INTERESTING, TO SAY THE LEAST.

WHAT WILL THEY THINK OF NEXT...

Trail cams, automatic feeders, and the rest of the gizmos leave a sour taste in my mouth. My opinion here, I enjoy scouting and finding a big buck to hunt but to take killing an animal to this level leaves an empty feeling in me. I enjoy sitting in the dark waiting for daylight to come and that mysterious feeling of what I might be graced with by "my" creator. I've never used a trail cam but I suspect I wouldn't have that same element of a primitve hunting experience nor would I have that ancient hunting instinct drive that finds me while in the hunting world. I very well could be wrong and I've even flirted with the idea of purchasing a few so I could have a project in days leading up to hunting season with my 4 year old but that empty feeling stopped me because I think it might ruin that same feeling I get in the morning of a hunt for him. Again this is my opinion and I don't look down or begrudge anyone who uses one, I'm sure many have a good reason they do use them.

I TOTALLY UNNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR SAYING, BUT IF YOU COULD EVER IMPROVE ON WHAT YOUR SAYING HERE, THEN YOU SHOULD REALLY CONSIDER A TRAIL/GAME CAMERA, IT IS ALLOT OF FUN TO SAY THE LEAST ,BUT THE THINGS THAT YOU CAN DO WITH THE MANY PICTURES ARE ENDLESS, THINK ABOUT IT, IF YOU, DON'T LIKE IT YOU CAN ALWAYS RETURN IT TO THE STORE...

    Well,

I don't own one. But a few fella's I hunt with that use them. I don't see the need to use them my self. That said, I am usually right there with them when they bring the pic's in to look at them on the computer. You see so many great shots, it's really cool just to look at them. Then again I am a critter freak. Frank

to me, the cameras are not a neccesity but mearly a interresting way to to scout and see what's there. It's fun knowing what has been there. Sometimes it's something unusual or maybe a poacher, a bobcat or something. I enjoy them and in no way to they lesson the hunt or effort IMO.
