SCENT LOK FOUND GUILTY OF FALSE ADVERTISING.


A U.S. DISTRICT COURT JUDGE IN MN., ISSUED A "SUMMARY JUDGMENT" THAT FOUND "SCENT LOK" HUNTING CLOTHING LIABLE FOR FALSE OR DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING.

SCENT LOK, ADS CLEARLY STATE THE CARBON-IMPREGNATED CLOTHING WOULD "ELIMINATE" HUMAN ODOR, AND ALLOW A HUNTER TO HUNT "SCENT FREE."

THE JUDGE SAID, " THE ADS WERE CLEAR AND HAD ONLY ONE MEANING; THAT THE PRODUCT CONTROLLED ALL HUMAN ODOR, NOT JUST REDUCE SOME ODOR."

"EXPERT WITNESSES PROVED THAT THE PRODUCT SIMPLY CANNOT WORK AS IT IS ADVERTISED AND THE JUDGE AGREED."

THE MN., JUDGE DID REFUSE A CLASS ACTION STATUS SO DAMAGES WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FIVE (5) MN, PLAINTIFFS, BUT SINCE THE RULING EIGHT (8) OTHER STATES HAVE ALSO FILED SUIT AGAINST SCENT LOK.

I WENT BACK AND RE-READ THE DECISION, THE PLAINTIFF'S " NOW HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK COMPLETE RESTITUTION FOR MONIES THEY SPENT ON SCENT-LOK PRODUCTS." SURE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW JUST WHY THEY DID WHAT THEY DID AND WHY WOULD THEY SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AND THREE YEARS OF FIGHTING JUST FOR A STORE REFUND, I KNOW THEY DID TRY TO GET THE CLASS ACTION SUIT FOR EVERYONE BUT EVEN THAT DOES NOT MAKE MUCH SENSE, THIS JULY THE FIRST CLASS ACTION SUIT FROM EIGHT STATES STARTS, SHOULD BE INTERESTING TO SEE THE OUT COME.

Had they said "virtually" scent free, there would probably be no case. I'm not a lawyer, that's just my guess.

I have used scent lok for years and have had no problem, Everyone knows nothing is scent free when it comes to game that can smell a fart from a mile away. I do the best I can to eliminate all odors . Scent Lok has helped with that. B.S lawsuit , Judge must be a peta member.

I swear I have seen that Buck before
the law suit was another was of the tax payers money. All the did was pick apart wording. Nothing is fool proof. and I'm sure it's not purfect but every little advantage helps.
