Stuffed Venison Loin

I sold my T/C Omega this fall and got a 209x50 barrel for my Encore. The first one I ordered came damaged, and the second one arrived about 3 days before the late muzzleloader season came in here in MD.

I'm shooting blackhorn 209 powder and I played with a number of different loads until I found something that seemed to work.

I ended up with 100 grains of powder and a 250 gr. shockwave bullet w/ the ez glide sabots. I was able to get some good groups, but I ran out of room to adjust the scope, and entered the season w/ a gun that is shooting 9" high @ 100 yds.

The two weeks season is over, and I ended up 3 for 3 with the new set up. 105 yds, 30 yds, and 147yds as the last bit of light disappeared on Saturday.

I'm gonna burn a lot of powder and bullets this off season to get everything set up right, but I already know that I love my encore.

now that i have a buck and the pressure is off i am going for the trifecta. this weekend with the bow and if i get one i will pull out the TC supreme hunter in 35 Whelan that i got for Christmas last year. it is so sweet i don't know why i don't use it all the time.

i like you had a little trouble to start with it. it would shoot intermittently. had to get a new barrel then a new frame. but she is shooting good now.
