There is definately something Photoshopped in the deer pic, look at the guy in camo thats just not right. Technically calling the coyote photo real I guess is wrong cause that aint no coyote. I do think it is a real photo though, I also remember an article about old Billy boy going on a duck hunt at some point. As far as the rattlers are concerned that aint nothing, they do that every year to mate. We've seen huge balls of them in the Mtns in PA normally their a little better hidden but not unusual.

NAUTIDUCK; IN THE 70's, WE HAD A HUGE PROBLEM WITH THESE DOGS, THEY DESTROYED LIVESTOCK BIG TIME. THEY HUNTED IN HUGE PACKS AND HAD NO FEAR OF MAN WHATSOEVER. THEY BODIES WERE LONG AND THEY WERE BIG WE DID HAVE SOME VERY BIG DOGS. THE LOCALS INCLUDING MYSELF BELIEVE THEY WERE WILD DOGS AND WERE CALLED COYDOG INCORRECTLY. AS FAS AS COYOTES, THEY REALLY NEVER MADE AN APPEARENCE HERE UNTIL THE EARLY 80's.THERE ARE SOME BIG COYOTES HERE NOW BUT NOT THAT BIG, THE DEC INSISTS THOSE WILD DOGS WERE COYOTES, I NEVER SAW COYOTES WITH COLORED EYES LIKE THOSE DOGS HAD. THE WOLVES THAT I HAVE SEEN AND KILLED DON'T HAVE THAT LONG BODY AND THE LEGS ARE MUCH LONGER AND THE FEET ARE MUCH BIGGER. THAT PICTURE IS REAL. I AGREE WITH YOU ON THE BILL DUCK HUNT I DO REMEMBER HIM HUNTING.YOU HAVE THOSE TIMBER RATTLERS IN PA, THEY ARE BAD NEWS AS FAR AS I'M CONCERENED.I HAVE DONE ALOT OF HUNTING IN PA CAN'T WAIT TO GET THERE THIS YEAR.

I see, I was just kinda wondering how you could have coydogs without the coyotes, that makes sense. So Im guessing they were wild dogs mixed with some wolf breed? We have large problems with coyotes both back home in NWPA and down here in the Charlotte (south of) area. Although they are quite fun for target practice. We didnt get a whole lot of timber rattlers around home in PA, but when I lived in the Greensburg area in the Laurel Highlands they were everywhere thats where we'd find the mating balls there would be hundreds of them wrapped all around each other.

HEY DUCK, HERE IS A THOUGHT FOR YOU. BACK IN THE 70'S AND 80'S THERE WERE QUITE A FEW WOLF BREEDERS IN P.A. AND THEY SOLD ALOT OF DOGS, SOME WERE FULL BLOOD BUT MOST WERE HALF OR LESS WELL, THERE WERE ALOT OF STORIES ABOUT THESE DOGS TURNING ON THEIR OWNERS AND THEY ALSO WERE HARD TO CONTROL, WELL THE RUMOR IS MANY WERE TURNED LOOSE BY THESE PEOPLE AND EVEN BY THE BREEDERS, NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE ALL HAVE HEARD THE STORIES OF HUGE WOLF LIKE DOGS IN THE WILD, IF, THEY DID INTER BREED IN THE WILD, THE RESULTS WOULD BE SOMETHING TO SEE.
