Maybelle and I just got back from a trudge through the swamp to make sure our Wood Duck boxes were ready for the next tennants.

We had to straighten and re-roof one but the others were in great shape.

In fact, one already had down feathers in it, this one was nested last year, two others had wet fronts like someone had just checked them out!

We did jump a pair of woodies and a pair of mallards!

I hope they have a good courtin season and make lots of babies!
