thanks guys i have been busy with school so i just got to read all of the posts. This is just going to be a temporary stand until i can get the money to buy some ladder stands. I think im gonna give nautiduck's idea a try. I just need to get up off the ground 5 to 8 feet to see over some tall grass. i don't want/need to be very high until i can sue somebody if something breaks
