Thumbs up PRODUCT REVIEW: TROPHYLINE TREE SADDLE

I have used a Summit Climber stand since I was 17. I decided to give this product try after hearing about it from another hunter.
I am VERY pleased with it. I'm not going to lie..it did take some getting used too(2-3 hunts). I've hunted wearing this contraption 3-4 times a week. I'm able to set up quickly and very quietly. I have found it to be very comfortable and safe..I've even napped in it. It doesn't look comfortable but it has to be the most comfortable stand that I have used (I don't use box stands or ladder stands). My legs Don't get tired and my butt doesn't get numb. I haven't ran into a shot position that I couldn't take (I mainly bow hunt). It is very handy because you can get in ANY tree that will hold your weight...actually..the smaller the tree the better.
When I hunt I pack in 4 screw in steps and my Lone Wolf Climbing Sticks. If I plan to hunt that tree again..I simply leave the steps in. My style of hunting is more "run and gun"..I like to have many spots to hunt and this allows me to do that using only one stand. Using the Tree Saddle has gotten me into some areas that I used to couldn't hunt because either the trees were to small for my climber or they had too many limbs. If you hunt cut overs this thing is the ticket!
BUT...heres the MAIN thing that I have noticed...I haven't been spotted by ANY deer while using the TREE SADDLE. I haven't had that "Ol' Smart Doe" come in and spot me out in the tree...not once! Do you guys know the "ol doe" that I'm talking about..the one that comes in looks you straight in the eye and starts the ol head bobbin and staring contest? I think that it's because of the way my profile looks when I'm in the tree.
I highly recommend this product. I haven't used my climber since..

Ok, a little help here. From the picture, I can not figure out how you climb the tree, how do you get up there?

There is a time and place for everything. I like my homemade lock ons. But maybe someday I will give one a try.

Thanks for the report.

It is not hard to shoot out of. If you gun hunt you can use either the tree or the strap as a rest. It does take some getting used to, but once you've worn it a few times you become very comfortable with it.
If you are a lock on type of guy, then this set up is perfect.
