    pellet gun,

been a long time since i really bought a gun. what would you recommend for a pellet gun? i want an accurate one. i read a lot of review's on the one's cabela's has and a few guy's complain about accuracy. i dont want or need to spend a fortune, looking between 100 to 300 dollars. the rabbit's got to go.

    I have a Beeman.
Cost might be more than $300 but is
accurate enough to have to change the target after 3 shots. Following shots go thru same hole.

I have a pile of em... Just picked up a Crossman 1000fps model. Out of the box I laid 5 right smack dead center on a target... No dialing in or anything. She was right from the start...
Have two gamos. One is opretty well dead on. The other throws em where it wants. Not where I want...

I dont think your gonna kill a wabbit with one.I have tried killing the more than 1 million squirrels that are in my back yard and bb guns just dont have the power.Ive used every kind of pellet,bb and it just stuns them this is shooting not even at 40 feet away!!!You wanna kill silly wabbit go for a 22 cal. They cost about the same as a bb gun and ammo is very cheap also and you can take down a small dog with one at 100 ft.They even come with scopes my kid "12 yearold"" can nail a dime at 50 feet everytime..I have a 22 savage I got at Dicks Sporting Goods for 110.00 and it came with a scope!!Ammo I think was 1000 shots for 13 bucks.Good Luck!!!Oh one more thing just be carefull when you shoot it as to what is behind silly wabbit cause 22s carry almost a mile and half when shot up in the air.But I think you will find once you dial the scope in you wont miss!!!

The Beeman in 20 cal will kill rabbits and squirrels.
I dont think .177 cal has enough lead. Its not all about the FPS its travelling, It's also about impact. You may find a little heavier lead travelling a little slower will be more accurate overall. Just my opinion.
If your ever in the Longneck area of De be glad to let you try it out.

I just bought a Gamo also. It's pretty well dead on every time! The cost was $299. Depending on the ammo it will shoot between 1000 & 1200 fps.

I agree. A Beeman will easily take out rabbits and squirrels. Accurate as hell.

    thank's,

the beeman , what model number are you talking about. does a scope come with it. and the 20 cal. vs, 177 is a good idea. i read some review,s on cabela's catalog site about gamo, and a lot of guys said.......not too accurate. could be the size of pellet factor?????? i shot a rabbit with a BB gun friday night, he couldnt walk straight, and kept rubbin his head. bug's bunny was a lot more clever as i remember. they eat everything in the yard at the shore, even sharon wants them dead. if you have a recommended model number that would be great. thank's.
