Our New Hunt Lease

Took over a 6,000 acre lease close to home this season. Tryin to make it a real Trophy Club. Quality Deer Management ideals and a great group of members to hunt with. Got a lot of young bucks showing up on the cameras. Some fine 3year olds as well. A couple of studs have been seen but none harvested yet. The rut is in full swing now, so maybe a slobberknocker will show up soon. Attached are a few weve been seeing. The one kill picture is of a buck killed on a farm joining ours. Fine buck but young, probably 3 1/2 years old. Gotta let em walk to let em grow big.

Good stuff! Getting nothing but doe and fawn on my new lease. Been too hot to get down into the swamp, pretty sure there are some big boys down there! Hopefully this cold snap will kill a lot of vegetation and I can start getting down in there.
