Ted Nugent, rock star and avid bow hunter from Michigan, was being interviewed by a French journalist, an animal rights activist.
The discussion came around to deer hunting.
The journalist asked, 'What do you think is the last thought in the head of a deer before you shoot him? Is it, 'Are you my friend?' or is it 'Are you the one who killed my brother?'
Nugent replied, 'Deer aren't capable of that kind of thinking. All they care about is, what am I going to eat next, who am I going to screw next, and can I run fast enough to get away. They are very much like the French.'
The interview ended.

Terrible ted...the motor city madman....absolutly love his outlook on life, i wanted to get to one of the outdoor shows last weekend here in pa because he was giving a seminar ....wanted hin to autograph my bow...but alas there was work to be done.....but a man has to do what a man has to do.

In college I did some roadie work and got a chance to work for him during the Damn Yankee days. He was absolutely one of the nicest guys. Genuinely.

Most of the bands I worked for were not that way. You never really knew what to expect out of most of them, but not him. You could always expect plain out coolness.

And the only thing that I disagreed with him on is when he said I quote: animals have no rights if anyone tells you that an animal has rights it is like taking A slap in the face! end quote. I just couldent agree with him on that one.Who is he to say who am I to say we are not god. Other than that he made A few racial jokes toward our pres.And A few cracks towards hippies but thats all good.He is trying to attract attn toward his new book but I think he is going about it in an extreme measure.But thats just my opinion And I am A hunter.Bowhunter,rifle,shotgun and muzzleloader and former rabbit and squirell hunter so I am not biased by non hunters in any way shape or form.
