OHIO BUCK taken by SC Hunter

Some of you may remember some of the chronicles Ive shared concerning my Buddy "HUMDINGER". Couple weeks back he joined a party that was filming for the DROP ZONE TV hunting show being filmed in Ohio. Not sure exactly where, just know it was on an Amish farm. His guy didnt harvest a big buck but he did get this Monster on video just before the deer went to a decoy his friend was hunting over in a field. Its my understanding its one of the largest ever taken by bow in that state. It green scored over 200BC. The show will air some time in the spring with the footage. Keep an eye out for the deer on DROP ZONE TV. Luke harvested the buck, hes a local boy out of North Myrtle Beach. Buck of a Lifetime!!

A 200 class whitetail in your opinion does not qualify as one of the biggest taken in your state? There are over 250 entries in to the B&C Book from the state of Ohio. Many of those are under 200 class taken with bow and gun. I stated it was one of the largest taken with bow. I agree, one cant compare it to the Beaty Buck. But then again I didnt, you did. Sorry for the confusion. But I agree theres been some stud bone collected in that state!

Was trying to ruffle feathers I just know a bit about Ohio.
It is a Monster no doubt.
Way bigger than anything I have taken. It is a shame that it is getting so expensive to hunt

Like yourself, I'm not trying to ruffle feathers either, but...any given day guys on this site are burning 2, 3, 4x's that amount in fuel alone with no guarantee of a fish, much less a trophy. Although I'm NOT a proponent of high fence hunting, not sure if this place is or isn’t, if it's free range and your pretty much assured of not only seeing, but, taking a buck of a lifetime...is $500 too much...? Again, I'm not trying to stir the pot, but, even on the small place I hunt <400 acres, I know I spend over that amount on stands, feeders, feed, etc...and I will bet the farm that I NEVER have a 200 class buck on my place.
