Just a bit of Information on these Bigger Bucks that were harvested.

Prior to release of deer all were weighed, aged and checked for Radiation.

The majority of all the BIG BUCKS with the exception of one were all 5.5 years old. The one exception was a 19 inch 8pt that was three years old. I guess it just proves that you gotta let them grow to have massive antlers.

Oh yeah one other tidbit of info........80 fawns were fitted with radio collars last spring on the site and 65 of them were killed by coyotes the first three weeks of life as stated by Biologist officials. That was surprising to me that many were killed. Biologist at the site said that once does began secreting just prior to birth the coyotes would shadow the does until they dropped and fawns were easy picking for them the first few days of life.

So.......kill all the coyotes you see boys!!
