no more strikes, we have a hit

This morning about 7:15 AM, from a ground blind, 20 yds, Pope and Lung old dry doe. Came in with a young buck and I choose the doe. She went about 50 yds and piled up.

How soon do you hunt your ground blind after putting it up? I just got one as was wondering if I needed to have it up a week before I should hunt it. Do they need time to get use to it?0

pitch bait, what you see is what you get, the bushes at the end of the red arrow were placed there, I just sat STILL behind them, I tied some to the tree that I was leaning against for back ground cover. We have double bull pop ups, but deer seem to really bust us unless they are almost completely brushed in. They work great for turkeys and sometimes hogs. I guess each deer is different, but I had rather just us brush unless I plan to hunt through a hard rain.
