    NOW HOW EASY WAS THAT! JUST WENT ONLINE AND PURCHASED 2 ARCHERY PERMITS FOR NEBRASKA WHITE-TAIL...$229 NON-RESIDENT.....CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? NO HASSLE...OVER THE COUNTER-ONLINE....PRIME DEER HUNTING MIDWEST...BAMALAMA....DONE DEAL....

    MY BROTHER HAS A FRIEND WITH SEVERAL PRIVATE FARM TRACTS THAT HAS GIVEN US PERMISSION TO HUNT .....THESE ARE SEPARATE TRACTS ALL IN EASTERN NEBRASKA ON THE MISSOURI RIVER LOCATED NEAR AUBURN, NE

    SAYS THAT NO ONE HAS HUNTED HIS LAND IN MANY YEARS ...WHAT???? COULD THIS BE THE MUTHA LODE ONE DREAMS OF?....HE PLANTS CORN AND SOYBEAN ON THE FARMS AND HAS COTTONWOOD RIVER BOTTOM...

    I AM PLANNING TWO TRIPS....AN EARLY SCOUTING TRIP WITH A 4 DAY HUNT BEGINNING SEPT. 13 AND THEN GO BACK FOR THE NOV. RUT AFTER OCT WAHOO SEASON

    COUNTRY MUSIC STAR CHARLEY JENKINS WILL JOIN US FOR THE NOVEMBER HUNT...

    I BETTER GO FLING ME A COUPLE ARROWS AND GET TUNED UP...

    So your coming to my neck of the woods huh? That area does have some darned big deer in it. I usually hunt about 20miles west of Auburn. IIRC there was a HUGE buck taken down there a year or two ago, something like 292"

    EDIT- heres the story about the big buck. Not quite 292 but still a monster.

    That is the place to be, we have been looking at it for 5 years because of the over the counter tags and the stories we hear on the road. I think outfitters are starting to figure it out, I see more hunts offered along th MO river area. Good Luck.

    Be sure to wack a couple does while your here also, they need to be thinned out some. Also Box, grab a Runza and onion rings while in Auburn.
