NC Seaducks and Divers
Has anyone heard, seen, or have any good reports of birds on the Pamlico? I know the scoters left for a while but have heard a few guys say they are starting to show up in decent numbers. I havnt had the chance to scout up that way the last couple weeks
Anyone know the story on the blackheads? Ive heard scattered reports of cans and redheads up and down the coast but nothing real serious.
Christmas day me and my brother are heading north for the week to chase divers and seaducks..hopefully they will be there.
Any info is much appreciated!

last bunch of seaducks i seen were mixed in with the sailfish on out on the Hundred. you gonna need to add some extra line to your decoys out there
.
have seen none trading just off the beach this year when there are usually strings of them up and down from the beginning of november, on. dont know what is up. my layout boat hasnt been wet in a couple seasons. oh well, such is waterfowling in NC......
if you are up in that neck of the woods, i suggest taking a ride from Wyesocking Bay on up to the Long Shoal. has been good to me in the past this time of year
