Well saturdays the opener and as bad as i dont want to part with the trout and drum for a morning, the ducks always get my full attention this time of year.

Been working on the boat the last couple days, refreshing its break all summer. Put the blind on this evening and knocked the dust off a few deeks, saturdays killing time.

Went scouting today to see what i could find and was pretty stoaked at what i saw. Hopefully they'll be there.

I did drag the poke boat out yesterday and washed all of the dust off, hopefully fishing Sat, might get to go monday mornin.

Headin' up to the farm on Sat to see what the beaver swamp is holdin. Woodies are a guarantee but sometimes in this early season I'll get some teal flyin through. Farm is located in Bertie County.

turned out pretty good..should have killed double of what we did but were not shooting too well and should have been on the other side of the creek.

pretty happy with it though boat ran good, only hit one log, shot some birds and had a good time.

gona give it a go tuesday morning. Will try to snap some pics for you guys.

Glad you guys got out,I stayed in bed and then got up and rode the MTB... Gonna hit it this wk. sometime not alot of ducks where I wanna hunt yet but hopefully it picks up soon..

Rough morning out there for us. Spot light didnt want to work right, foggy as all hell, couldnt see shit so we didnt go where we intended to go, shot one bird. But thats why they call it hunting..better then school

Brandon at least you got out there...I was supposed to go this morning but had an 8:30 class. Get up and go to the class and it's been cancelled

I went opening morning by myself because my buddies wanted to deer hunt. Hot and didn't see much. Shot 1 woody.

We managed 2 out 4 fat mallards and 2 young drake wigeon.
