My son's first buck

My 3yo and I went out for the evening opener in Orange county with the smoke pole. I built him a nice ground blind so he could move around a little, or whatever it took to keep him in the stand for a few more minutes. Well, that didn't work, he wanted to sit on the fence line where we killed a doe last year, he seems to think that's the only place we will kill one. So, I gave in and went to "his" spot. It paid off, about 20 minutes left of LST this little buck walks out and I let the hammer fly( I usually pass on these bucks, but Henry insisted we take home some groceries). Henry was real excited but couldn't tell if we dropped him, it took a little for the smoke to clear, but I could hear the deer flopping around in the tall grass. We walked over to the deer and Henry was estatic that we got him. I think he's watched too many huntin shows and had all the good sayings down.
