Here are some pix of the boat. It was homemade - I bought it nearly done and finished it. Its 11'11", 4 ft beam. I have a 7.5 hp on it but it needs a 15.
Awesome looking hunt in ND - I was supposed to go to Sask but had to bail. Good looking pup you got there as well.
Awesome little boat..was it a kit? I saw several boats like this while hunting Maryland last year.
No it was just homemade by modeling after a traditional sneak box. The guy who started it made a mistake - he didn't make it big enough. He wanted it to hunt with his son and dog, but it is too small. So, he built a bigger one and I bought this. The cockpit is open which is good for loading up dekes and other shit that I take, plus room for the dog. It also has storage up front under hatches. It has a 7.5 hp motor but I need to get a 15 to get it moving right.Originally Posted by Going Deep
Is it plywood and glass construction? I have plans to build a perrine box, and think I'm gonna build a super sized version. It'll probably be a few years from now though.
Thanks for more pics....I can never get enough duckboat pics.
what part of NJ do you hunt?
