My brother shot this nice doe at 25 yards last night. notice the shoulder shot. Again the Rage did its job on a good but not perfect shot. I have heard a lot of good and bad things about rage broadheads, IMHO they are the best. not that i promote taking bad shots, in fact i hate it, but the Rage in my opinion compensates for a small error in judgement.

How dead does a deer need to be based on shot placement? That one looks pretty dead. Shot placement can be all over the place and bring them down. I've been within 1" of a clean miss and cut the throat for a quick bleed out and short track. Not promoting poor shots, just saying the perfect shot doesn't always bring them down.

i Shot a deer just the other day as it was getting dark. Looks like the exact shot i made, thought i wasnt going to find em. 45 yards in the thicket there he was. But i believe it was only due to the rage. Most broadheads dont do damage quite like that.

Switched back to spitfire after couple bad experiences with rage. Main problem I see with rage is dull blades. If it can't cut the hair on your arm it's not going back in my quiver.
