My brother is back

My brother hunted deer for the first time in 4 or 5 years today. We told him to only shoot does or a big buck, well I forgot he had never shot anything bigger than a 4 pointer and he hadn't been in the woods for a long time. The first buck runs up at 30 yards and he drops it, only to find out it was a 5 pointer, 5 minutes later the second one runs up at 15 yards and he ses more points so he shoots it, 7 pointer, he walks over and felt guilty so 5 minutes later when an 18 inch 8 pt ran up, he passed. Its a start. I was proud of him and he was happy to have shot the two biggest bucks of his lifetime. He also only shot twice and got two so that was good.

my bro left the woods for a little while because he got in with the wrong crowd. Our dad passed in 04 and things didn't go well after that. He started going right again about three months ago when he got right with God. Since then its been very refreshing to be hanging out with him again like old times.

Hahaha... love it! I dont think I would have let the 8 pointer walk... if everyone he whacked brought a bigger one... I would have piled about 20 of them til I had the next world record!

We are calling it a massacre as our official statement. We killed 3 deer in and hour and could have killed 7 ha ha. Im just glad he didnt shoot that third buck. I would have never heard the end of it from my dad

that is an aweome story!! there is nothing like hunting with your brother trust me, the only time i ever go out is with my brother whenever he has the time. just spending time with them is more than awesome. glad to hear he got god in his life as well, happy for ya'll!!!
