I would have to guess around $350 depending on options. They are still a very popular gun. They were also prone to the trigger assembly breaking if you werent carfull taking them apart for cleaning. Try gunbroker.com and you might get a idea on a good used value and go from their. Also numrichguns.com. I have a 500A and love it for small game. Somthing I can beat around and leave the Browning at home! Hope this helps.

Ok, thanks for that info, now what's the safest way to sell it to a private individual, besides checking for their firearms permit card (N.J.). Have them sign a receipt??

1. Check value at gunSamerica.com. It will have the actual value and is a goo place to sell.

2. Sell/ship only to the recipients local FFL dealer, they will handle the paper work and charge them the transfer fee tax.

Watch what you do in your state. Perhaps a local gun shop will take it on consignment, maybe The Sportsman Center in Bordentown?
