Montgomery County 8 point

Shot this buck on Friday evening in Montgomery County. When he came out it was so dark that all I could see was that his rack seemed pretty tall. Would have let him pass if I had a better look. Short G3's. Was a little dissappointed with the the rack after I found him. None the less he's dead now and I have him at the processor turning him into cube steak and burger.

congrats on a niceun. Had 2 coyotes come by me Sat morning, one 75 yds., small probably female, one 10 yds. huge, me with a bow. The one 10 yds was on the wrong side, me setting down, thought it was a deer coming. No shot. I now want the coyote more than a deer. I plan to kill one. Stay tuned.

Once you call in your first, you will really be hooked! Those things are I believe one of the most intelligent animals I've ever hunted. They will look up also, more so than a deer so keep your movements to the minimum. Keep me informed. If you have a howler, try giving out a lonesome howl while on the stand if you get bored. Don't over do it. Just one howl, and it will not bother the deer. If they are close by (the yotes) they will probably come see who's intruding.
