Montana whitetails

headed to montana with elk/deer combo tags but only saw whitetails and mule deer...

That looks like a golden eagle to me. The bald juvies are pretty darn ugly!!

dave, could be a golden, a local told me juvenile bald.. sadly, it was injured. it just hobbled up the hill and clearly couldn't fly.

there were mountain lions in the area; my dad saw one at around 75 yards.

wish i had at least seen an elk...shooting deer with a 30-06 is a lot like fishing for bluefish with an 80.. lol
