momicted.....i like it! downeast carteret county speak with a virginia tidewater flair!
it could get nasty in these parts next week too. its pea soup out there today.
Pea soup aint the word for what I saw and drove through this morning. The fog was so thick all I could hear at first light was a few whistling wings and wood duck squeals.
This is one of the "less well known" spots to me. Still figuring out the birds here. I did see a decent size knot of woodies. 30 mallards were on the "back hole" and a few divers just cruising around, plus a couple of Don kings did a fly by. One day, at this place all will line up and the ducks will be dying! It will just be a matter of time..........................
Can we get the phonetic spelling for us yanks!![]()

[Mom'~mik`tkd] 1.) to destroy or kill in a prejudiced manner with great force and firepower followed by uneccesary aerterial bleeding and neck snapping.
2.) To lay the steel into scaled and skinned fish and box directly. Usually followed by redneck hi fives and ice spread over the kill.
That's downright fantastic, Thanks BTH I googled it and didn't come up with much....one hit.
D...you've still gotta come out and momict some seaducks this year. So far the hunting has basically sucked and it's not looking much better for the next week.
