Missed this 9 ptr last night!

Missed this 9 ptr last night, clean. 15 yrd shot. Held fully drawn for seemed like eternity waiting for 1 more step from this buck, but he would move from behind the one sappling I left in front of a hot scrape.
After my miss, i reloaded but he wouldn't present another opportunity and walked off not alarmed.

The 2nd pic is the one i'm really after.

Don't pay attention to the dates on the Deer Cam photos. Forgot to set the time, date. To nervous with all the sign i was seeing i guess.

sweet pics, couple of fine looking animals there. Where are you hunting out of curiosity. I hunt RI. I didn't know that MD had such good looking bucks. Talked to my buudy about it and he was telling me he believes that the western border of the state has some good genes. Thanks for the pics. Good luck bringing that big boy home for dinner.

We have close to 3000 acres in different tracts from Snow Hill to Salisbury down to Princess Anne and even near Crisfield.

Right now the pending state record white tail has been taken near Deal Island with a bow.

I would offer any SFC member a trade. 1 duck or goose hunt or deer hunt for a striper trip in the Chesapeake this fall/winter.
