im going to we've been shotin em like crazy in balitomre county and heading down to the eastern shore tomarrrow hunting the flooded pon in the mroning the the water in the evening
You will need to plug your receiver to only allow a total of 3 shells in the gun. I used a stick that was cut down in the field for a number of years back in the day (lost the plug and realized it when I got to the blind). Your best bet is to either buy one or cut a small dowl down to the size needed and put it in the receiver.
Hey Capt-D just remember they are bigger then they look so make -em get close!!! They also fly way faster then they appear!!!! Feet down.. shoot the white patch!!!! Good luck.

Good luck Dennis.. What da hell is a plug for![]()
Each to his own I recon-- I can take a yearling, roast the whole bird Medium rare glaze with Grenadine syrup/Oj and serve over Garlic mashed potatoes that will make you smack your momma.
I did by first annual screw up of the year last night. Put new line and weights on my fancy new goose plugs for this Saturday (tomorrow). Come to find out this morning that the Va. Goose season doesn't open till 12/21.![]()
Well the blind was not on fire today, but we did manage to bag three and I was personally able to nail my first goose! Saw plenty of high flyers but couldn't get many to commit. We had three groups total actually lock up and commit to the decoys. First group of 8-10 came in and unfortanalty for us left without a scratch (of course that was the only group we had on film).![]()
It was a shame cause that was the largest group
Next we had a single come and a buddy bagged him straight away. Last group was a double that checked in but didn't check out.
Stuck it out till at about 10am, then called it a day!
By the sounds off in the distance, there were alot of geese killed today!
