Massive 8-pt

Here's an 8-pt taken in MD last year.

Not sure what it scores, but I was told it is one of the top 3 or so 8 pts ever taken.

My best estimate is a 26"+ for width, but not sure of that.

Either way he's a beast, and was taken on a property that neighbors one I have been hunting my whole life. I've never taken or seen anything worth a darn on my place, but have had a few guys who used to hunt it a lot take some decent bucks and see many others. It goes to show you that you never know what might come over the hill next.

I bowhunt property in Baltimore and Howard County, as well as Kent Island and have never seem a deer like that! That is damn nice deer. Goes to show you that QDM does work. Let the little ones walk and shoot a doe instead....

I wouldnt shoot that deer. Not because it ist big enough, but because I would probley fall out of the tree when my knees get weak before I even had a chance to draw my bow. Maybe on the way down I would try to throw my knife at it. That is a pure stud.

That is one helluva an eight point !

This is one of my favorite eight points. He's not near as nice as that top buck but I like his look. I took him near Corrizo Springs, South Texas. Of course, my wife has turned out to be my best catch !

Nice deer, but as pictured in Wasbai's post, we have them like that as thick as rats down here in South Texas. Actually, I have to dodge deer like that and bigger just to get to the coffee shop. Nice deer though.

This is a awesome 8 point (as good as it gets). My guess is - it will score about 165". It is wide and very tall (not massave). An awesome buck. (I would shoot him any day).

I really don't think you see 8pt's like this every day. This is a world class buck. Not many 8 pt's make the book, this one could be verYYYYYYYYYYYY close.
