Looking for hand climber Wil Could Try
Purchased a Summit Viper SD for Wil last week. Great stand and the SD does work well, problem is that Wil was unable to reach the front bar to utilize the sit and climb aspect and ends up using as if it was a hand climber.
So we are looking to try a Summit Open Shot and a Lone Wolf assault or standard Hand climber and will be selling the Viper SD (up the tree 1 time) Looking for less bulk for packing in and easy set up.
Anybody on the lower shore have an open shot or lone wolf we could try out? Not looking to buy your stand just want to let Wil try it out before purchasing a new one this time.

I have a buddy that has and open shot and might be able to borrow it and catch up with you to check it out.
You probably don't want to try the API hand climber with Wil. It's a decent stand, but the summit and lone wolf definitely grab the tree better considering Wil's light weight.
I'm out of town through Thursday this week, but will see if I can't catch up with you soon.

Thanks Dave. I actually hunt with the API Bowhunter and did not even consider it because of the weight among a few other reasons.

You're welcome.
I have a Summit Razor. It has a sit and climb rail that can hinge underneath the seat after you climb, or it can be removed and you essentially have the Open Shot.
I sit and climb, then hinge the bar under the seat and it allows for an open front.
It weighs 21lbs.
