    Mrs. Capt-D, Liam and Avery!

Locked and Loaded, so to speak

Well after nine and a half months since I purchased my bow, and umpteen questions asked and answered by my SFC brethren I trot off to the woods Thursday and Friday Evenings to give it a go.

Went throw a dry rehersal yesterday with the new climber, safety harness, and shooting from the stand. I also made sure my brooadhead issue had been resolved and it has with the new carbon express CS200 arrows that I got.

I wanted to thank everyone who has responded to some of my annyoing questioins and i am glad that you all are here to bounce questions off of!

Cant tell by the pic but its mee in my climber at about 15 feet!

best advice I ever received or give regarding bowhunting is:

    Pick A Spot,

don't shoot at the deer, shoot that little crease, tuff of hair, shoot at something the size of a quarter.

Best advice I ever got "You know when the indians got rifles they threw those bows & arrows away!" I still love my Matthew's though!

Sounds like your doing it right. Plenty of practice and when the time comes, you just go through the motions.

Remember after your shot, give what you think is enough time to pass, then wait another hour.
