    Living right duck hunt.

Could life get any better. Took Nolan down to the OBX for a couple of days fishing and the weather was off so fishing was tough. He did manage some pullege just not the target we had in mind. He headed home and I stayed for the week. On Wednesday he had his 13th birthday and while talking to him on the phone he tells me that our "REAL" good friend Zach has offered to take him duck hunting Friday morning. This is where life gets better... Karen gives the ok and tells the school he will be out of town. Then Friday morning she gets him going @4:00 to meet Zach at a BP and off they went. Had a blast and Karen got him going again for a second hunt Saturday.

Not sure how many trips she will help get started if she spots this one.

Then Zach staging a picture showing what a tough day he had. Someone wrecked the ramp the night before.

To top it off the Postman brings Nolan his papers from NCDENR for his Cobia he caught back in June!

Congrats to the young man, the citation for the Cobia is quite a feat and the ducks are a bonus. Have fun and enjoy!

Nothing better than getting a kid "Out of Town" for a very good reason....
Great job on those mallards and nice cobia to frame up.
