With the cold weather goose flights have changed. One of my buddies got a good read on em and we went at it. Set the decoys and left Lil' Red and Jake in the blind. Just as the we stepped out of the truck they had twenty workin em.
The boys did a fine job and it was a pleasure to watch as they worked like they had done it before. When me and Jakes dad got to the pit Lil' Red and Jake were unloaded having already taken their limit. As I stepped in Lil' Red was all smiles and said something that I'll never forget, "I'm done here. I'll call for you." Wonder where gets that attitude from??
We're gonna go snowboarding a couple or three days in PA...depending on how toilet paper sales are...but for the most part we are staying around here...
