    Lifes full of surprises

Well got there with high hopes today and anyone that snow goose hunts will be the first to tell you that they never feed the same field two days in a row or seems like it. We we get there and wait for them to come but to our surprise they landed on a cattle field next door that wouldnt let us hunt them due to the cows.

After looking at them for over an hour in hopes they would feed to our field they didnt. So what do you do??? How bout run after them yelling at them to get them off the field. so what do they do, go to another field with cows I think im going to put out decoys and then put a doz cow decoys out and we will get them all in to us.

Only good thing that came out of getting skunked today is that we got permission for another HUGE field system across the street who wants them all dead and off the fields everyday. I said who better than me

Got some nice pics so i hope yall like. I need a better camera to really zoom in and get some really ncie action pics and standing/eating pics.

Do you aim at a specific bird or just point and shoot towards the action when they're that thick? Looks like it could be pretty fun...nice shots

Brian my first shot is aimed but after that its kinda hard to single one bird. They are like zebras they get up and there are so many going so many different ways you cant tell what is what. Usually when its like that one shot you will drop 5-10 or more. Most we ever killed was 52 in 3 shots. Well dropped 52 most were winged then we clean them up. We have a special season here were we can kill as many as we can with no plugs or anything.

Snow geese are by far the most frustrating friggin birds out there.

Did you all have deeks out? If so that kinda suprises me to some extent. As you know if its not exactly where they wana go its near bout impossible to do anything with them.

You have those days. I like the pics!

Thanks for the comeback...that's wild. I figured it was like that, but I've only shot clay birds and Mako's before, probably more Mako's than clay birds too which says a lot for my accuracy. That's exactly why I like the looks of that field...point and let er eat! I've never done the hunting thing before but I'll get around to it one of these days I hope.

5-10 with one shot, 52 with 3? That's gnarly! Pretty much redefines the old saying about killing two birds with one stone.

    Thanks for answering my question.
