let's talk stealth

I have to admit, I'm a "back 40" kind of guy. I want to know what's over that ridge, how far can we go into that swamp and so so forth. So to get "back there" we must use stealth if we want to be successful. The first thing is: hide your truck. That's right, get that truck hid good where the other hunters can't see it. Heck the deer don't care, but the competion wants to know where ya hunting.

next, let's say you are using a ladder stand. Be sure to hide the legs of the ladder cause if other hunters see it, they will either hunt your stand or steal it. Again the deer don't seem to mind.

of course going to the back forty will take us well away from any road (or driveway) so we will feel like we are away from it all.

next, never hunt around a feeder. Get way away from it. You might see some does there, but no self-respecting bucks will be caught "dead" at a feeder.

hopefully this is entertaining cause it ain't making no sense

leg is a little better due to pain reducing, will be in a cast for a long time. Might try to fish some inside later this week.

Great pics. I thought you lived in Georgia. Another post I read said you were in NC. Am I confused or do you have two places?

live in central NC, travel to where ever to hunt and fish,
now about them little piggies... sooooouie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
