Got back from the coast without catching a keeper Bluefin. but back here in Chatham county there is no catch & release on these guys!
My dad says they're better off in the freezer than dead on the side of the road...

I can't agree more, although, I would say I prefer them in my belly.

We dry the grinded stuff in the oven the meat strips are dried next to the buckstove... In South Africa the good ole way during the dry season is to hang long strips of antelope meat from the gutters.

No shit?? I don't think the neighbors would take to kindly to that here in MD. They get mad enough when the goose feathers start blowing around the neighborhood and a fox drags a deer hoof out to the kids playground out back.
