are you holding back, stockpiling the stories? what about them hogs? Hog meat will spoil if you don't tell us about it.

Well, I am hoping to get after the pork this weekend. I just got back from Maine. I had a good time, and saw 1 buck and 10 does in the week of hunting I was up there. I was looking for a monster.

To be honest, I was all set the last night. It was 35 degrees, raining, and I was tucked into a great stand overlooking a bog they bed down in. 2 hours before dark, my uncle calls, he needs me to help him find one his cousin shot before the rain washed all the blood away. A few minutes later, I jumped one on the way up the mountain to them. My buddy shot at one 10 minutes later. They were moving, but I was out of the game.

But I am hoping the pigs are in full force in my spot this Sat. I think I may take the cousin, but he has to learn to sit still... he is real fidgity, but he loves going. I wish someone would have taken me at 14!

best of luck to ya, I will prolly hunt poachers this weekend. We had 7 rifle shots that were on my lease opening day Sat. We had 2 vehicals on our place this evening but I missed getting home from work in time by 2 minutes. Kay was hunting and you can't do both. It's a shame I have to waste my hunting time chasing poachers.
