Its that time of year again....

1:30 pm walking to class get to class note on door class is canceled.230 on the way to the to the deer woods... needless to say it was warm...and the mosquitos were a chewin'. i was hunting a good friend of mines farm. he had said that they had some deer, that was an under statment, i was climbing the tree and i had 2 does down a cut over mabe 50 yards away. and it was non stop after that i didnt go 45 min without hearing or seeing deer. 20 min of shooting light left and i had been watching 2 does (at this point i would take a doe because after 4 years of bow hunting i sll have been able to close the deal on a deer) and out he comes nice eight the best i could tell i watched him for about 10 min then he disapeared into the woods.still no deer taken with a bow but i can feel it soon one will screw up and get to hear the good old hoyt string music... hopefully i will be able to share a bit more of my world...

sounds like you have a great spot. Any deer with a bow is a trophy. Many of those doe are much smarter than the bucks. Just try to keep yourself calm and PICK A SPOT on the deer. Keep us posted on your hunts. Look forward to hearing about your success. Don't forget the camera, we want to see.
