It's been a good Puddler Year

We cannot complain at all on the Puddlers this year. Sure we had a few slow days, and my boys and I didn't get our 18 bird limit more often than not, but it has been a great Puddler year for us. Son #2 keeps track and I think we're up to 115 or so puddlers thus far.
Now it's time for Diver hunting and my favorite 3 weeks of the year--- bring on them thick neck Redheads and bomber Bluebills.

Good reports from friends doing well on both red and black heads on the NC side Glenn. Surprisingly though the big ducks have been more miss than hit at our place in NE NC this year. Fortunately Arkansas has picked up that slack

Saw a report of a duck hunter drowning somewhere up on the Chesepeake yesterday, be safe and good luck to you and your boys the final three weeks

Glad yaw are getting them Glenn...we've had a great year as well. When the birds show up and you have the weather to keep them around and to push more in, its hard to complain. Good luck on the divers...snap a pic for me.
