I'm Jonesing to go ducking

Between being sicker than a dog, fooling with dumb ass deer, and fishing, I haven't been ducking in two solid weeks now.
I had promising reports last weekend that we had a good push of birds, but my report from Thursday was pretty bleak. Maybe, just maybe, the migrators we got last week are still around and just took a siesta with the balmy weather late in the week. Monday is calling for light (please) rain, so we'll see.
No sense on wishing for weather, but I'm praying hard anyway.
Hope ya'll wipe the cob webs off and get your butts in the blinds on Monday as well.

Went out to get the duck boat all straightend up today and found 2 Ringnecks and a Mud hen in the boat---- that was real pretty after 2 weeks

jan 2 is right around the corner......so the pumpkin heads will be vacating the woods, finally. i fear for my life on scouting trips and deck out in orange to keep from getting shot at. did a little poking around friday afternoon....found about 600 birds sitting tight in one pond....they will get what is coming to them on tuesday .
